Hello there! Welcome, welcome.
It seems you've stumbled across this here blog post, so let me tell you a little bit about myself. I'm a writer, currently working towards publication, with a goal of publishing a trilogy. The Etherium Series has been living in my head rent free for several years now and I figured it was about high time it got to work being useful. So now I shall endeavor to take the mess in my brain and put it on paper for people to, hopefully, enjoy.
I've been writing stories since elementary school (I'm being generous here, we can't really call what I wrote then "stories", but they contained complete sentences and, ya know, words so they kinda count, right?) and have participated in several NaNoWriMos. -If you don't know what NaNoWriMo is, don't stress. My next post will be covering that subject and why you should participate.- I'm now at a place in my life where I can dedicate real, concentrated effort into writing a novel and I'm honored you're considering joining me on this journey.
Here's why you should stick around:
I'm going to use this website and other social media platforms to teach you everything I learn along the way to publishing, from the first book to the whole series and everything in between. As I learn, you learn. Sure, some authors have more experience than I, but time is a cruel mistress, and those older authors probably don't remember as clearly what it was like to just be starting out. Writing a book is hard, navigating the complicated twists and turns to building an author platform even more so, and publishing that novel is the hardest of all. So let's do it together.
I'll be posting weekly YouTube videos as well as blog posts about everything from NaNoWriMo to an indepth look at how to write a novel, to how to start your own author platform. As I start the publication process itself, I'll make videos and blogs about that too. All my successes, all my mistakes, everything I wish I would've done instead, you'll learn it all. I mean, I think that's a pretty good deal. But, ultimately, the decision to stay is up to you, but I hope I’ve convinced you to tag along on this wild journey.
If you've made it this far in the article, YOU'RE THE BEST!
Thank you for taking the time to read about me and I hope you stick around for more.
